Environment
At All In One Party Shop, environmental initiatives are happening at all levels within our organization – from simple efforts to reduce energy on a daily basis, to aggressively seeking ways to minimize packaging of goods. Green is no longer a trend but a way of doing business.
Rent – Re Use – Recycle
Renting is an effortless way to reduce the unnecessary purchase of disposables and other packaged items that consumers frequently use when entertaining. The phrase Reduce – Re Use – Recycle has become an integral part of how we live on the West Coast and forces us to “re think” how we do things everyday within our operation. We feel it is our responsibility to continue evaluating our day to day operations and efforts to reduce, re use and recycle.
Recycling
We have established a successful recycling program within our operation for cardboard, paper, cans, bottles, and plastic. We are aware that recycling does utilize a tremendous amount of energy to successfully process an item from start to finish. Ultimately our goal is to attempt to eliminate waste entirely.
Paper Reduction
By transitioning to electronic billing where possible and revising several internal processes we have reduced our overall paper consumption.
Packaging
In 2011 we switched to 100% biodegradable plastic bags, and for several years we have used reusable plastic boxes and bins for storing and shipping our rental inventory.
Catalog
Our product catalog is available online and we continue to reduce the number of printed copies each year. Our catalog is printed on recycled paper with 30% post consumer content.
We are pleased with the eco-friendly practices we have introduced but are aware that there is still more that we can do. As individuals and as a company, we feel it is our responsibility to work towards a more environmental future.
